A consistently fun and community-minded park. Family friendly with an asphalt path around Traver Pond, great for exercising the humans.

My first visit here. Probably my last. My dog is 9 lb. Shih Tzu and Lhasa apso mixed. He was attacked within 4 minutes of us being on the other side of the gate by a cinnamon colored, white cheeks boxer.
Beware 😭.
The male owner did ask if my puppy was all right. I was far too traumatized by the experience it wasn’t to get my dog to safety. I did not feel safe responding as I was alone. This experience was completely unexpected. I wish there was a park here for small dogs too. Maybe there is and I just didn’t see it.

Dog park is for members. You can walk your dog in Olson park on a leash and poop pick up!

Decently sized dog park, both times I have gone around 3 PM and it was empty. There is a shaded area to sit and its emptiness makes it a great spot for a play date! Played fetch the whole time without distractions and got them very tired.

Excellent dog park! Almost always people there on the days it’s warm — and the hike around the pond is short and nice 🙂
