Located just northeast of downtown, Northside Park offers a welcoming green space for residents of Ann Arbor looking for a dog-friendly park. While not a dedicated off-leash dog park, dogs are allowed at Northside Park, and pet owners enjoy spacious fields perfect for strolls or relaxed leashed play. The park is also wheelchair accessible, with barrier-free entrances and parking available.
Families visiting the park will appreciate amenities such as a playground with slides, swings, monkey bars, a basketball court, tennis courts, a community garden, and a baseball diamond. There is a covered shelter for shade on sunny days, and restrooms are available in warmer months. With its open spaces and close proximity to local favorites like Washtenaw Dairy, Northside Park is a convenient stop for Ann Arbor dog owners seeking pet-friendly trails and active outings for the whole family.
Needs some TLC. Lots of potential. You would be lucky to get 45 minutes of play out of it without friends around.
Weird little park in the middlen9f nowhere..not much to do except walk around in big field or playground. Neighborhood thing
Nothing wrong with the park, but the bathroom doors are consistently locked. So you must ring the doorbell to use the bathroom, and no one is ever in the community center. Just a heads up.
This park is a big field with a nice shelter kept neat by the City. Restrooms are open seasonally during summer and fall. Drinking water is available from bathroom tap. It has a functional tennis court that needs some TCL and a community garden. Located next to an elementary playground park, it counts also with access to lot of swings and a rope climb structure. As a side note, it’s a 8 minute drive to Washtenaw Dairy… No business beside this park…
Very nice school playground and adjacent park. Playground has swings, monkey bars, slides, and playstructure. The adjacent public park has a basketball court, tennis courts, and baseball diamond.
