Broadway Park is a stellar option for dog owners searching for a dog park in Ann Arbor, MI. Conveniently located near downtown and right along the scenic river, this pet-friendly park offers two spacious, fully fenced dog areas. One area includes trails and a cozy nook, while the other provides ample room to play fetch and socialize, making it perfect for dogs of all energy levels.
This park stands out for its separate small dog space—ideal for pups under 20 pounds—and its lush greenery with paved walking paths. The location is praised for its easy parking options (including at the Kellogg Eye Center after 5 PM or on weekends) and quiet atmosphere, even during midday hours. Though the park can become muddy after rain, its proximity to town and natural setting make it a must-visit for local pet lovers seeking dog-friendly hikes by the river.
Two dog fenced areas, both larger. One has little trails and a cozy nook. Paved smooth walking paths outside
A nice local dog park, on the smaller side & can get quite muddy, but very close to town. The also have a separate area for dogs less then 20 pounds. Parking is convenient a the Kellogg Eye Center (after 5PM or on weekends) since it’s a U of M lot.
My favorite dog park in the area! There were no other dogs when I went (around noon on a Monday) but that made it perfect to play fetch! Right along the river and lots of greenery. I also found free 2 hour parking nearby.
Great dog park right by the river.
Two good sized dog areas – fencing is in good condition- beautiful location
