Love this place! Visiting these woods year round is a treat. Nature abounds, the peony garden is absolutely a sight to behold once all of the flowers are in full bloom. Find some public parking and walk right in, it’s free to enter. The Huron river runs through the wooded area, a very scenic area especially during the peak of the autumn colors, also the river is very shallow where is runs through that part of the woods so it’s a nice spot to dip your feet in or let your pet splash around.
