I love this park, great area for a BBQ, the playground is shaped like a train, good fishing spot.

Small but charming, with a peaceful view of the babbling Big Sister Creek. However… The town claims there is a playground here… villageofAngola dot org claims one was built in the summer of 2017. We visited the first day of fall, that year. No playground equipment. EDIT: drove by yesterday (August 2021), noticed a really nice playground has been installed.

I enjoy bringing my daughter here. She is autistic & likes to pick up the leaves and sticks to throw in the trash lol. I like that it’s never crowded for her, (which can be difficult for autistic) unless they have a party going on of course. I like that it’s walking distance from the village and enjoy having the creek there. There are SNAKES in the water and surrounding it. That’s the only part that scares me 😬 everyone who goes there is very friendly, which is also beneficial. My daughter is challenging & everyone I’ve ever encountered there has been very accepting of her disposition. It allows me to feel more comfortable going.

Held my twins 4 yr bday party and rented the big Pavillion. Cost wasn’t too bad, beautiful peaceful location. Had electricity, but no running water. Disappointed because only bathroom was in a small private locked building, but it was a glorified outhouse. No water, no sink, no mirror. I made a make shift hand washing station outside bathroom with 5 gallon jugs of water with spouts, soap & paper towels. If I’d have know about bathroom situation, might have rented elsewhere, but playground was nice and updated. Oh, also could have cut grass one more time before rental, plenty of dry time and Angola can’t be that busy!

More recreational fishing access. Nice access to Big Sister Creek for fishing and splashing. Recently updated so the playground is very nice. Couple of picnic pavilions and enough space to walk around.
