Beautiful windy park not a lot people there . there’s soccer fields , and kids Play grounds. Also there clean restrooms and tables and there’s also walking trail you can walk to the end of the beach. The beach not to clean cause of the 🌊 brings out of leake ALOTS of rocks and dead fish.

I recently took a walk through Wendt Beach Park and was impressed by the changes. The park has undergone significant improvements, making it a more inviting place for visitors.

The newly paved roads and parking areas are a welcome upgrade, providing smoother access throughout the park. The addition of clear signage and improved curbing enhances navigation and safety for all guests.

Walking along the beach, I noticed the efforts to maintain the natural beauty of the shoreline. While swimming is still prohibited due to rocky conditions, the beach remains a peaceful spot for walking and enjoying the lake views.

The historic Wendt Mansion and stables are still awaiting revitalization, but their presence adds a unique charm to the park. Erie County is seeking partners to transform these structures into attractions like lodging or event spaces, which could further enhance the park’s appeal.

Overall, Wendt Beach Park has made notable strides in improving its infrastructure and amenities. It’s encouraging to see these developments, and I look forward to future enhancements that will make the park even more enjoyable for the community.

PS – It also make an ideal spot to turn around at while riding my bike down the lake shore road trail.
