Update: I returned a year later for a second visit. Also during the week. Still one of my favorites 🤩.

I’ve been to 12 of these 🌈 parks since I bought my camper trailer.
They are all different. They all have their own character.. But This one is lovely. It has a comfortable feeling.🥰

After the short bumpy unimproved neighborhood road,😣 you will see the entrance is tight🫢 something I found at two other 🌈parks as well.
If you’re towing your house behind you, there will be some careful manouvering🫢

Even though I was unable to get in on a weekend to experience an event, 🥳the layout, the different loops, 🌠the rustic areas,🌲 the hiking trails🥾🚶 the dance barn, 🕺🏻the beautiful swimming pool🏊🏻‍♂️, the restaurant 🍽️, the large property for the seasonal residents – surpass any of the other parks I’ve been to.🙌🏻
It’s a wonderful evening walk.🍷

This property is ginormous! Residence would definitely require a gas-powered golf cart. I understand they’re adding cabins because that seems to be the biggest seller for overnighters.🤑

Again, something common in these types of parks is very limited overnight RV sites.
They seem to all be focused on seasonal and perms, but they do have plenty of ⛺ tent sites. The tent area does have power⚡ and water💦.
There’s actually a large centrally located tent area,🏕️ a secondary group tent area,🎪 and a rustic tent area in the woods by the stream.🌊

They have a well stocked store with any type of camping need or food item you would need.
Also bathing suits and the necessary 🌈 items as well.

The price is reasonable. The staff is exceptional..
Cleanliness is second to none.
The only thing that’s missing is a playhouse😈 or a hot tub. 🤓

Jones pond is our home away from home! We have been here at least twelve weeks over the last three years! The seasonals are great and the owners are awesome! There’s a very beautiful environment including a recently updated and renovated pool, and gazebo, a café, a beautiful barn with finished dance floor, pool table and finally beautiful acres to experience. This campground is not far from Walkens Glenn, Corning glass, Letchworth Falls, Niagara Falls, and buttermilk Falls.

This was our first visit to Jones Pond. The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful. The crowd is also very friendly and fun – lots of positive energy, and a strong sense of community at this campground. Facilities are very clean and placed conveniently. The pool, barn and cafe are close to the entrance to the campground. Cafe serves delicious food and is very well priced.

They are a BYOB campground since the state of NY doesn’t allow campgrounds to hold liquor licenses. You can bring alcohol anywhere within the campground – no glass at the pool or barn.

A nice perk is that they accept Canadian Dollar at par everywhere: you can pay at the cafe, store and even the camping fees in Canadian cash. The only exceptions are the reservation deposit, which is charged in advance, as well as bingo – those are in $US only.

It was a wonderful first weekend, had a couple small mistakes before we even arrived through attending one of their events at 26. Even though those nights are worth it in all ways just like a book don’t judge it by the cover unless if your judging the good looking poster boys that last year poster boy wasn’t there but I found out and got excited to attend through him by just being one of his followers! The dance and everything was so great it was definitely a time to get loose and relax, the trails are great as well even though it’s hard to follow through them because the painting on the trees are probably in hard to see spots. Lastly our refrigerator wasn’t really working in our cabin till my partner said he turned some knob, kind of upset but what they say no guarantees that the 2 newer cabins that were next to us did not have a grill but we did and next weekend we are staying at the one next to us! Great community very friendly and relaxed!

This was my first visit to a gay campground, and it was a great experience. We arrived on Thursday and were greeted with the friendliest check-in—lots of helpful information, warm smiles, and answers to all of my questions, especially about the campground’s policies.

The cabin we rented was perfect, with windows on three sides, a ceiling fan for air circulation, and a surprisingly comfortable bed. While we didn’t use our tent, the tent sites looked well-maintained and were conveniently located near what were probably the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen.

The pool was clean and at a comfortable temperature, and the staff throughout the campground couldn’t have been more courteous.

My only regret is not being more outgoing. I was a bit shy, and I feel like I missed out on the full experience because of it. Don’t be afraid to say hello and connect with others—it’s part of what makes the place special.

I definitely plan to return, and next time, I’ll make a greater effort to connect with the amazing people who work and stay at Jones Pond.
