FAQ for Washoe Park in Anaconda Montana:
Probably the coolest park I’ve ever been to. It’s got beautiful walkways, a community pool, baseball diamond, and the coolest playground and splash deck. There’s stuff for big kids, little kids, and it’s just so perfectly themed. I wish I could stay with my little all day! So fun!
Great playground and such a fun themed splash pad! The pool is super close, as is the rest of the park! If you’re into geocaching, there’s two finds for you to hunt within walking distance 😉
There’s something for everyone! Don’t miss riding the t-Rex across at the other park (other side of the pool).
There’s great walking and biking paths and some fun bridges too. My son loves playing in the creek (be careful, current can be strong and water shoes are recommended).
One of our favorite parks in the state.
This is one of the nicest parks I’ve ever seen. Especially for kids. We took our granddaughter there after art in the park. She absolutely loved it. She is almost two and a half. I saw kids there anywhere from walking age to 12 maybe. There are so many activities for children to do here. It’s like a miniature water park. There’s zip lines. There’s tall climbing objects. Several different slides that are pretty tall up in the air. A great place for a picnic. One thing I really like is how they use turf when you walked on it it felt like you were walking on really padded carpeting very durable outdoor carpeting. This would definitely look make me less worried about my child falling off of a ride or while climbing up high. Excellent place for a picnic. Highly recommend it.
Very nice park. Kids water area seems popular. Overnight RV camping is NOT allowed. Sign posted.
Apparently it used to be allowed
We were her for 4 of July 2025 just beautiful, free and you could watch the fireworks from the confort of your car. Fireworks started at 10. There was a concert and lots of people doing their own fireworks outside the stadium.
