Pearsall Park is a serene green space tucked away among the residential neighborhoods of Amityville, New York. Known for its quiet atmosphere and well-manicured grounds, this park offers a peaceful escape for residents and their dogs. While Pearsall Park is not a traditional dog park and is not equipped with play structures or pet-specific amenities, it remains a beloved spot for relaxation, enjoying nature, and unwinding on comfortable benches or beneath the gazebo’s shade.

Although signage indicates dogs may not be allowed at times—make sure to check for regulations on your visit—the park’s charm lies in its simplicity and tranquility. With limited parking for a few cars and surrounded by beautiful homes, Pearsall Park feels like a hidden gem where you can take in seasonal foliage or simply clear your mind. Small neighborhood green space. Not much of a Park. There are a couple sitting areas and a gazebo. There are no restrooms or playgrounds . Sign that states No Dogs Allowed

Beautiful place- came here for engagement photos. However, it is small and the photos of the bridge, field , pond are not this location. Very misleading.

Quiet park hidden among residential homes. No walking trails just plenty of benches and a gazebo. A wonderful place to just sit and take a break if you need one. And today, who doesn’t need a quiet respite?

Not a huge park, no swings or any other things you would expect in a park. But it is very well manicured grounds, peacefully quiet, definitely a place to clear your mind and one of the best times is coming soon around the end of September when all the leaves start to turn color. It’s usually never crowded but every once in awhile you get a wedding shoot and even first time parents getting babies first Autumn pictures.
Parking has only room for about 2 maybe 3 cars and it sits in a residential area so houses all around the perimeter of the park.
Above all, it’s a park that has nothing, but it is the nothing that makes it so very special.
