This is a neat area to visit.I liked the gift/food shop. They had two cats just hanging out in there.The pool was warm! Which is not the most ideal for cooling off on a hot sunny day. The water itself, is spring water, so it’s “not chlorinated” and felt nice on my skin.
Seriously the coolest pool around! We’ve camped here several times with an RV and they’re such good hosts. The pool is nice and we honestly love the rules. We don’t know another pool that allows floaties and our son loves them. We go multiple times a year
Incredible place to visit. The heated swimming pool is perfect, the grounds are beautiful and well kept and the people are wonderful.
Very nice environment for the family. I do a lot of camping (fifth wheel) & everyone else in my wife’s family does tent camping , and don’t go often. This place fit the needs of both at the same time. The playground, pool & koi pond were awesome and offered opportunity for everyone to be doing something.
This was an okay there-and-back trail to go on. It kind of reminds me of walking through a pasture, but with lots of shade. There’s a lot of manure and cows on this trail. The distance there and back was 4.2 miles if you go to the top, past the gate. The elevation gain is just over 900 feet at the end. You get a nice little look towards Pocatello from the southern side.
This place is wonderful!It’s very well-maintained, lots of green grass and a cute park for the kids and a little fish pond where you can feed the fish. The pool is pretty big and the place is very kid friendly. The staff were really nice and helpful and and we enjoyed ordering food and snacks by the office/pool.We booked for one night but ended up staying for two and the kids were devastated to leave (but we had another reservation at Yellowstone)We’d love to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to our friends.
Trail begins at a small parking lot just off the Bannock Highway near the Caribou-Targhee national forest boundary. Be careful, the exit from the parking lot to the highway is nearly blind.The trail climbs gently to moderate from the parking lot all the way to the top of Indian Mountain, although most hikers take much shorter walks and the very top of the trail up the face of Indian Mountain is faint and steep.The lower part of the trail is shady and the first mile has no livestock, making for good spring wildflowers (May-June). The livestock use used to be heavy, but now it might be restricted to only two weeks in June.Kinney Creek is usually perennial, but it never flows to the highway.
Plenty of gentle danger noodles. Also found a deer leg so that’s cool. And um nice trail. Low incline, nice trail, beautiful flowers.
