Not really a park… more of a nice walkway – leads to a very nice hiking trail. Not too busy usually.
Great place to see a views of Downtown LA and Echo Mountain from the same spot! Park is along the historic route that the Mt. Lowe Railway used to take on it’s way up the mountain (that’s why the park is curved). There is a plaque honoring David MacPherson who engineered the Mt. Lowe Railway. From the park you can hike Northeast along the Altadena Crest Trail and connect to either Rubio Canyon and Eaton Canyon or Echo Mountain via the Sam Merrill
Nice little park with a walkthrough, waste bags & small trash bin at the top of the trail. Lovely flowers & landscaping!
A great neighborhood park that leads to the Altadena Crest Trail. Lots of peacocks. And I saw an owl there:
I have this a three but it’s not reopened yet. The County is redoing the area and it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful park with walkways and benches to sit on plus total re-landscaping of the area. Look for the area to open up soon.
