Great easy hike, nothing strenuous. A lot of different trails you can take. A couple river crossings, so be prepared to potentially get your feet wet. A lot of traffic going on in evenings or weekends. You can expect horses, bikes, dogs so watch where you’re going and make sure you can hear your surroundings.
I’m sure it can be a little sketchy at night, so probably only go when it’s light out.

My great grandmothers home is literally next door. For generations my family has walked this trail. It will forever hold a place in my heart. 💜

Have gone so many times I lost track. Easy to find by bike. Lots of parking a bit down for cars too. Just somewhat beat up from the winds lately compared to a year back.. Great views though and not steep!

This trailhead is a nice one close to the city and can be used to access many good points of interest like Brown Mountain Dam or Wellas Peak. Just remember to reach the actual trail it’s a 0.6 mile walk on a paved road.

Been going for years here and love it. So glad to hear it’s reopened after the fire. I can’t wait to go back.

It’s an easy hike (more of a walk) or great for biking, kids and pets.

Bring suits for the kids and towels. There’s always clear flowing water to splash or even swim at times and so much to climb on. Even a cement hill to slide down.

Park all the way down in the dirt area. GpS to Ziparian Zone.
