Consider this my backyard. Learned to ride mtb on these trails and they still keep challenging me to this day. A fun set of interconnected trails a short distance from the city.

Great riding and just in the backyard of LA. Climb is a little long and tough but not too techy. Down hill is quick with a little techy switchbacks. Overall, awesome view of San Gabriel.

I find this rating unfair since I didn’t finish the hike. I wasn’t prepared because I didn’t know where I was going. Anyways, the parking lot is too far from the actual hike (reasons for 4 stars)! The hike is 4 miles and add another mile to get to and from your car. There’s a lot of bikers so that gap between isn’t an issue. Be aware of horse poop, there’s a lot on this trail.
