Fun event, parking is not bad provided you go a little early. But even at the start of the event (7pm) parking could be had less than 2 blocks away (of course this will vary depending on the movie). Seating is trickier, as the screen is surrounded by a gentle slope forming sort of a natural amphitheatre, the good flat areas will be taken early.

The event itself is alright, but due to the late sun down (8pm), half of the movie was playing while the sky was still bright, and their projector wasn’t strong enough to overcome the ambient light. One final gripe is once the sun went down a lot of small flying insects came out, getting into hair, food, and clothing. Be sure to finish eating before sundown.

Such a great activity that the city provides for the community. It’s an amazing show that involves the kids, gets everyone dancing and singing together. I absolutely love Saturday nights at alhambra park.
