I finally visited Almansor Park even though it’s so close to my house, and it turned out to be a really nice spot. It’s a big park with plenty of space to walk in loops — perfect for getting your steps in. Dogs are allowed on leash, though I did notice quite a few off-leash, so something to be mindful of.The park has a pond with lots of waterfowl, which adds a nice touch of nature, but it also means the main gazebo seating area is pretty covered in droppings. If you want a clean place to sit, the benches a little further from the pond are much better. There’s also a neat “Alhambra” statue/sign that makes for a cool photo op. Overall, it’s a pleasant community park that’s great for a stroll, but I’d avoid the gazebo area if you’re planning to sit and relax.
