Not a big play area but has a nice parking lot and a huge field to play ball or fly kites.

I am a member of the American Legion Riders post 370 and we do a 3.2 mile stretch of Rifle River Trail starting at the point of Rifle River Trail and Greenwood to Mills Rd. so we pick up the park too. Play ground, picnic area, soccer area, port-a-potty nice.

This is a fairly large park. The playground is small but in good shape. There are at least three nice aluminum picnic tables as well.

Very nice park; I came with my wife, our daughter, and get grandparents while visiting their trailer nearby. The only real reason it didn’t get a 5 star rating is it doesn’t look like there’s a public restroom here, just a porta-potty (that is fortunately pretty far from most of the areas you may use while here).

Reasons for 4 stars:
-Lots of open space
-Big open field
-Diverse, old school (but safe as far as I can tell) playground equipment
-lots of gravel parking space
-good mix of shade and sun
-playground area mostly shaded
-walking access
-shaded eating areas/tables
-nice grill(s)
-pretty clean
-rules clearly posted
