Underused tiny park. Good soccer field. Benches. Trash cans. Play areas. Vandals get at it every so often which is a shame. A sense of space and green vastness in a small hidden part of Alexandria.

Good green Area to let your kids run. The park is under remodelation but once finish will become a great place to grill and have some fun outside.

I live right near this park and while it’s nice to have a grassy field to look at, most of it is not that great.
The “playground” is wooden and very sharp if your child falls and the other play area is more like a modern art display.
The grass area is nice for kids to run around in but people let their dogs off leash frequently. They removed a majority of the trash cans so it’s frequently littered with garbage because people are too lazy to throw stuff away in the proper area.
There is only one grill and the newest feature is a water fountain that works only 30% of the time during the warmer months.
There are huge blocks of concrete with sharp metal pieces sticking out along the path (which I can only assume is where benches/trash cans used to be).
Finally a swinging bench that is repeatedly broken so they stopped replacing it after the 3rd time so it’s just a metal arch now (it’s been well over a year).
Overall, nice place to run in the grass area but everything else would be a complete waste of time to make a trip here.

Extremely noisy. A lot of horrible loud people without any manners walking their horrible loud dogs without any manners. Loud barking and screaming of children and adults alike oftentimes lasts for over 10 hours a day, even after the dark when the park is supposed to close. Residents of Fox Chase apartments frequently host private events in the park, which is illegal but nobody enforces that. During these events, loud screaming and barking is accompanied by equally loud music. I live on N Gordon St next to the park. It is impossible to be in the yard and hard to be in the house when this all happens. I am Autistic and loud noise hurts me. I am in pain because of this park. If you are Autistic, I do not recommend this park. There is too much noise.

Very difficult to live next to. People treat it like a dog park. Dogs running around without a leash and barking at all hours. Hard to enjoy
