This dog-friendly park offers wide open fields perfect for off-leash play, surrounded by beautiful, mature trees that provide plenty of shade. Dog owners enjoy the tranquil environment, with no busy street noise and ample space for dogs to run, explore, and socialize. The park also features picnic tables, making it a wonderful spot for families and their four-legged companions to relax and have a picnic together.
Although there are no fenced areas, water fountains, or playground equipment, the park is known for its natural beauty, well-kept grounds, and local monument highlighting Kingstowne’s rich history. It’s a fantastic destination for dog-friendly walks, nature watching, or simply unwinding in a serene setting. Please note that there are no paved paths, so trail strollers and wheelchairs may have limited access.
This park is a nice place to take your kids or dogs for a walk. There’s no playground equipment or anything like that. But there is TONS of space at this park.
Wide fields, no noise from the streets. Dogs can run fast off lease. Humans can set down for picnics and sunbathing. It’s divided into two parts – a larger sloping field near the street down to a stream hidden by brush and bushes. Further on, a long thin field with huge trees and a single stone bench. This is the better side for loose dogs and picnicers. There is no paved paths, so baby stroller beware. There’s a small house, unused, with a driveway where you could park, maybe illegally.
This is a very beautiful small park in the middle of a residential area. There are a few picnic tables there and several fields to walk and play on. There is a little wildlife here as well. It’s well kept and kind of a local hidden gem. It is a nice little place to relax and recharge. Please take the time to read the monument while you are there.
