I was trying to have a fun night out with my friends, when all of a sudden an avid bird watched named John started chasing us. It was late at night, so it was very hard to see. It was a close call, we barely made it out alive. It is not a good spot for sledding despite of what John might tell you. 😡

Great park for dogs with woods, hills, and a stream. About a quarter mile loop trail. Reasonably well-bordered by yards and woods, but be sure your dog is okay off-leash as there are a couple entrances directly bordering roads. Stream can get very muddy.

Peaceful and simple. A couple benches and picnic table in the dog area across the bridge.
A few spillways in the creek with evidence of old collapsed water management efforts from long ago.
A serene walk with large fallen trees that have sections removed wherever they cross the path.

A hidden gem! Love the small off leash dog area—perfect for snowy days. Short trails surrounding the area.

I didn’t see much. There was no place to park, I saw no place to let my dog run. But it was great to stretch my legs until the mosquitoes ran us off.
