Jones Point Park is a scenic outdoor space located in Alexandria, VA, offering a natural setting near the water. It features areas suitable for dogs to enjoy some off-leash time, though details on specific dog park amenities are limited.
Great trails for walking, bike rides and parks for kids. Easy access and very clean. Love the views and sunset.
A good accessible place for kids, adults, handicapped, walk your dog(s), go fishing, watch the planes coming in and taking off and boats go by. Best of all no entry fee; there’s some free parking and the cooling late afternoon sea spray is so relaxing! A former ship building yard, fascinating historic lore and buildings; this stop worth your time .
The park is beautiful and you can see the bridge and the river by stand here. However, it’s kind of boring if you not come with your friends or family, so called historical lighthouse is also not deserve to watch. Here’s a restroom and some basketball stands.
Parking is limited. You have access to Old Time from there by walking about 1 mile. Beautiful sightseeings, nature, and history in one place. You can also access the ramp to cross the Woodrow Wilson Bridge by foot or bike towards Maryland. Restrooms available.
This is a really nice park. I have been here twice so far and both times I truly enjoyed walking around. I had no idea that all this was here, hidden underneath the Woodrow Wilson bridge and kinda just stumbled onto it the first time. I am so glad I did. There’s nice walking trails, a big open field, basketball courts, playgrounds, nice places to fish and even historical stuff like a big ship rudder DC Boundary Stones and an old lighthouse. Also despite being underneath the beltway it’s quite peaceful. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
