Huntington Park is a spacious dog park located in Alexandria, VA, offering a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners. While specific amenities are not detailed, it is a popular spot for off-leash dog activities in the community.
Good place for light jogging, walking and dog walking.
So much space. Little to do. Playground could be bigger . It was pretty clean other than the waterfront zection where the drunks hang out and leave trash.
This place is special to me. One of the last parks where I could take my dog before we put her to sleep. Her other owner lives near there.
A nice little park for walking your dog. As of July 2019, there’s only a circular track stretching from end to end, but it’s a decent size to get some exercise or take your dog for a quick walk. I’ve been there in the late afternoon and evenings, as well as on the weekends, and never seen it very crowded. Be warned, there are no garbage cans available (at the moment, anyway), so you’ll have to carry any trash (including dog waste) out with you.
Great little park. Some interesting little trails that lead to the main walking park. Nice view of Huntington creek.
