Needs more trees for shades
Water fountain for dogs and cats.other than that very nice!
Great playground, well maintained tied and great playing fields. There’s a community garden and dog park. Parking gets insane during soccer season. Port a potties only
I am not writing this review to recommend the things praised in other reviews, I am giving it this score because of the community garden that is in the park. I have been gardening here for the past three years and look forward to many more. During the main growing season, representatives from the County’s master gardener program are there on certain Saturdays to help answer any gathering questions you may have. Other gardeners who tend plots are also very helpful and are willing to lend a hand or a tool if you need something special.
This was the Smaller museum near the national mall
Gave it four stars because seventy percent of The museum was closed for changing/renovate.
Lots of DEI hires.. welcome to DC!
Visited in late October wasn’t too crazy.Busy tons of food trucks out front selling overpriced ice cream..
food vendors in trucks likely not American citizens fyi
Great Little park for a Saturday afternoon with toddlers. The equipment is in good shape, except for a couple of stairs to show their wear with rust coming through thus making sharp little edges that might be dangerous for a kid if they fall, but that would probably rarely happen. The football field and baseball field are both well maintained, however not accessible to just folks coming into the park to use; one probably have to reserve them. There is a basketball court and a soccer field and they’re both decent and opened. My only misgiving is that the basketball court has got a bigger grade than necessary; guess to avoid puddles.
