Judy Guse-Noritake Park is a lovely community green space located in the heart of the Parker Gray Neighborhood in Alexandria, VA. Although not a dedicated dog park, this hidden gem is a popular spot for local dog owners and offers a large, open grassy area ideal for dog walks and playtime. The park’s welcoming atmosphere, wheelchair accessibility, and amenity-rich surroundings make it a dog-friendly choice for those looking to get outside and enjoy the pet-friendly city vibes of Alexandria.
The park features shaded picnic tables, a bocce court, horseshoe lanes, and a ping pong table (bring your own equipment), perfect for human and canine companions alike. String lighting allows for relaxing evenings, and trees offer excellent shade throughout the day. While the spacious grassy lawn is visually inviting, please note that certain sections may be marked as not dog appropriate. Be sure to check signage when you visit.
Nice place to sit down and relax. Nice dive/sports/restaurant bar directly across the street also. Nice little hidden gem here. Excellent place for dog walks also.
Small but very nice park. Has an open grassy area, horse shoe lanes, a bocce pit, ping pong table and tables for sitting.
Nice little park in the middle of the Parker Gray Neighborhood of North Old Down. Bocce Ball, Ping Pong and just nice hangout areas with string lights so you can relax outside after the sun goes down.
Lovely park for dogs and their companions to congregate. Spacious grassy area, with multiple trees. Picnic table seating. Bocce court, ping pong table, and horseshoe toss. Bring your own equipment.
This is a nice small park space with picnic tables, horseshoes, table tennis, but most of the space is wasted by a large empty grassy lawn marked not appropriate for dogs. Given how it is never used by people except those with dogs, it is a waste of good space. It could 1) allow dogs 2) be a dog park 3) be a community garden. Instead it’s a lawn.
