Great place to put-in kayaks to enjoy class 2 and 3 white water for miles.
Nice river access with picnic tables, grassy areas, little beaches on the shore. Kayakers and canoes put in and out here. River is full of rock ledges and rapids along with some pools and eddies. Only a few people on a weekday in late July.
Lots of bugs in the water where I was but absolutely stunning view.
Perfect spot though found a bunch of half centimeter tiny worm like things on my legs and feet. Maybe leaches? Dunno…but awesome spot for shade and river exploration. 😎
