I visited from Queens, NY. I enjoyed the rose Harden very much with its 100’s of roses in one area that one had never seen before in my entire life. I totally recommend a nature walk. The park is hilly but good for a hiking trail or just an afternoon stroll.
Great location for a tulip festival with large crowds. Drawback is lack of seating through much of the park, making it challenging for those who can’t sit on the ground to eat and don’t want to walk across the park from food vendors. Lovely setting with central fountain. Nice path to stroll on along the lake (but csn get muddy). Picturesque bridges for photos. Public bathrooms in the Boat House. Water fountain in the Boat House. Parking is challenging during large events.
So beautiful! Large park with nice walking trails. We come every spring to see the tulips!
From Texas to NY. Didn’t see that much flowers as I was expecting, but the park is beautiful, big trees 🌳. Lot of ducks and fishes turtles. Great place to relax by yourself or with the family.
I feel so lucky to have moved down the street from this incredible park. It’s awesome for walking, connecting with nature, picnics and photography.
I’ve been watching the tulips explode for the last few weeks and it’s just a spectacular sight.
Love this park so much.
