Tried this daycare for the first time while in town visiting and nervous about how everything would go and had a such a great experience! And my dog did not want to leave! Would return and recommend without a doubt! Thanks Heather & Patrick for making the whole process a smooth one!

The owners – Patrick and Heather are amazing! Muttz Dog Lounge is so attentive to my dog, Clementines wellness, safety and happiness. As an example, Just this past week, Patrick noticed that my pup was asking go outside more and straining to go potty. Patrick and Heather immediately let me know and with their knowledge and expertise thought that it could be a UTI. I took Clementine to the ER Vet and sure enough, she was diagnosed with a UTI. Clementine is doing well now and I thank Muttz Dog Lounge (Patrick and Heather) with being so knowledgeable and attentive so that I could get quick care for my pup.

Clementine attends daycare 2x/week and comes home happy and tired. I get text messages with pictures and videos throughout the day. I like that they have a smaller amount of dogs, so that it feels more like a home type atmosphere!

Thank you so much!

I’ve been training my dog, Max, at Muttz Dog Lounge for the past two months, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Ron, the main trainer, has been incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and effective in working with my dog. His training techniques are practical and easy to implement, and I’ve already noticed such a positive change in my dog’s behavior.

A big thank you to Heather, the owner, for creating such a welcoming and supportive environment for both dogs and their owners. I truly appreciate the dedication and care both Ron and Heather have shown throughout this journey. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done and can’t recommend Muttz Dog Lounge enough!

Please give them a shot, they won’t disappoint!

I can not say enough good things about Muttz Dog Lounge with Heather & Ron. We have a corgi that is almost 2 years old with terrible habits, and has never been properly trained.
In 1 session there was a tremendous difference, the whole family could walk our dog on a leash with out him pulling like a sled dog and he stopped chasing cars which was a huge dangerous issue.
When we first got him we took him to one of those warehouse places in Albany and he only lasted 3 sessions. Those places do not have a clue about training and potential create issues with their lack of knowledge.
Bring your dogs to Muttz you will not regret it and your dog will be happy and live without anxiety. We are so grateful to have found this place!

I can’t say enough praise about Muttz Dog Lounge, Heather & Patrick! We have a year old Boston Terrier who is the only dog in our home and who spent the first 8 months at home with me while I worked from home. He loved all other dogs right off the rip and wanted to play, but without having a fenced in yard it was difficult to have play dates. It was no one’s fault but my own that him and I became very attached from spending every day together. I knew I needed to socialize him but was hesitant on trusting the right place. I spent over a decade in the Veterinary Technician field and I wanted to feel assured that if something occurred from rough play etc. someone would know what to do. I selected a place closer to our home over the summer that seemed to be well liked, I was hopeful Clarence would adjust to the separation and enjoy socializing. Unfortunately, he did not enjoy it and would shake terribly every time we got in the car or pulled in, we used to have to almost drag him in for drop off and it broke my heart every time. My initial selection could work for a dog that didn’t need a human around, but because they would leave them in rooms for hours without a person, Clarence would anxiously sit at the door waiting for someone to come back. There was also no contact throughout the day when he was there, no photos or anyone to contact to see how he was doing, they even moved over to an answering machine out of the country which made me feel worse about leaving him there. I eventually went back to searching the area for a daycare with even more hesitation knowing he was even more hesitant to be left somewhere. When I reached out to Muttz Dog Lounge it started immediately as the most welcoming, accommodating and personalized experience. We brought him over for an initial meet and greet with Patrick and Heather and I was so relieved to know they stayed in the same room with the dogs throughout the entire day. Within minutes, Clarence went from hesitant to curious and playful, he immediately picked up the energy from the room and from Patrick and Heather and started playing. Environment and energy are critical indicators for an animal and you can feel the warmth at Muttz Dog Lounge immediately. Both Patrick and Heather are incredibly attentive to each dog’s personality, the training in need and delicate with each dog’s needs. His first trial day was like night and day compared to the 1st daycare I picked. I received text updates, pictures and videos throughout the day on his progress and he warmed up so fast to each group of dogs that he cries in excitement when we pull in now. Everything about their service is accomodating and stress-free for the owner and pet. Their platform reminds you when your dog’s vaccines are upcoming, their packages aren’t complicated and the entire experience is wonderful for both Clarence and I. He might even love Heather more than me now! and I LOVE that, because I know our attachment to each other was contributing to his anxiety to socialize at a daycare. I feel excited to bring him to the Lounge and not guilty like I did with my previous choice, but mostly I feel so relieved in how safe and cared for he is there. They without question make them feel like they’re at home with their owner when there for the day. They add creative fun play for the dogs and are incredibly patient trainers.
