Lower trail is quiet and easy. There is a large tree down on the north side of stream. But trail seems to be maintained so I’m sure they will get to it sooner than later.

It was nice. The first half mile of so was pretty good. There were 6 to 9 beaver dams that were pretty neat to see. The rest of the walk was kinda boring. Possibly some red cokaded wood peckers in the area.

Great little hike! Trails are well marked if you pay attention. A few trees are down from the beavers but you can easily navigate around them

Nice wooded trails. Need a clear marking system. You could get lost. Found the old family graveyard. I’d love it if a path to the water was cleared. I couldn’t find a way to see it except faintly through the trees from a distance. There is a ton of potential for a beautiful preserve here.

From what I hiked for the short time I was there, I could this preserve is beautiful and very well maintained with wide open trails to follow. What makes this a great place also is that it is an archery only hunting preserve with plenty of wildlife resources.
