Went for a Disc Golf tournament and loved the course. It’s absolutely awesome. Take an umbrella for the sun and plenty of water. You’ll need it.
It’s a peaceful and beautiful place many different trails great for bike riders great place to spend the day with your family kids will also have fun we hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family peace love and happiness
a lovely out of the way park near Aiken South Carolina. Impressive sit up with full array of facilities — shelters, boats, bike trails, courts, restrooms, etc. Often called a hidden gem and I fully agree.
It’s a nice park to walk in and there is disc golf on the other side of the park. Eerily, it’s oddly devoid of natural life for a forested public park space except some good sized spiders. Some of the trails are pretty grown over, so wear appropriate clothing if you like the trail less traveled.
We are very happy with the park. The smaller children enjoy the playground which is big enough for about 10-15 kids at a time. Numerous garbage cans for trash and a bunch of nice trails for walking, hiking, or riding bikes. Haven’t tried fishing the pond yet, but see families on the dock or on boats in the water. Bathrooms are fairly clean, but not very big. It’s nice that there is a facility on site though that’s central to many of the areas. Nice covered areas for picnics or gatherings.
