Just found this place so I don’t have much experience but I’m excite to explore! Looks like there are plenty of plenty of paths to hike!

Also plenty of places to fish ( with a license ) Dogs must be in a leash.

Also you are near lots of farms that are open! Check out some animals and maybe buy something yummy and healthy.

Nice easy hike through the river marsh along a wooden path that empties out into a path that skirts fields along the Potomac. Great for bird watching and scenic views of the river and of Mount Vernon.

This is a review for Piscataway Park. Bring the telephoto lense! There is a great view of Mount Vernon across the Potomac. View in all directions is beautiful. The farm has some animals and crops. Rams, sheep, cows and turkeys. The farm buildings are open and accessible. Some are set up as they would be in the 1770’s. There are short walking trails and two boardwalks. Fishing is allowed on one of them.

You can see a variety of birds, fish, and other animals, and the boardwalk is also a great place to simply relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Love this spot for birding. There’s a huge variety of birds here and I see something unexpected every time I go.

This place is a bit off the beaten path but it’s surprisingly well visited despite how far away from things it is. I usually only see 2-3 other cars in the parking lot though.

The boardwalk has wide views of the marsh area and you see quite a variety of birds just along the boardwalk section. I recommend going past the boardwalk up to Mockley Point. There are a few picnic tables just at the end of the boardwalk next to the field.

Some people go fishing here so watch out for that along the boardwalk.
