Discover Grove Run Dog Park, a friendly off-leash spot tucked just off Easton Rd in Abington, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by plenty of natural shade and nestled near a scenic creek, this park is a top choice for local dog owners seeking a relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere. Grove Run Dog Park features separate pens for big and small dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for canines of all sizes. With benches and shaded areas, pet owners can comfortably sit and watch their pups play and socialize.
The park provides some useful amenities such as complimentary waste bags and several water bowls left by thoughtful visitors, though there is no dedicated water fountain. A quaint nature trail, a bridge, and access to a stream make Grove Run a standout among Abington’s dog parks, providing more than just a fenced play area. It’s a great spot for both pets and families to unwind and enjoy some fresh air, making it one of the best pet-friendly trails in the area.
My only complaint is owners leave a lot of dirty torn up tennis balls and other toys rather than throwing them away. Otherwise its pretty great.
Small, but very cute dog park with lots of shade and benches. It is a nice little place to let the pups run free for a little bit while you relax or play some fetch.
It’s okay. MUCH nicer dog parks a little further out with less weirdos.
Great place to bring your pup! They have a small nature trail, a stream and a cute little bridge. I love how they have 2 pens one for big dogs and one for small dogs, perfect so they won’t get trampled lol I recommend. Plus even tho it says close at 6 I still go until it gets dark. When the sun sets you see cute little bats come out, but that’s all.
I was very surprised by this lovely little dog park! It’s a reasonable size and there were dog bags when I was there. There’s also a nice creek nearby and plenty of benches. It was empty when I was there. There is no water but some people have left water bowls and toys. It was a pleasant surprise and a nice ambiance. My dog really enjoyed smelling all the smells.
