Nice park with alot of scenery. Visited shortly after a rain and the trails were muddy and the exposed tree roots are a trip hazard, beware. Children and dogs were present so that’s a option. 1 restroom in the parking lot.

We visited this place on a weekday. The visitor center was closed. We were about to leave and an employee showed up and told us that the visitor center opens only when there is a special program going on. There are couple of walking trails – relatively short and easy. Conclusion: We couldn’t find much else to do here.

This park itself is okay. There’s no playground but it’s a bit of an outdoor botanical garden but it needs some love. There are three or four picnic tables so you could come out and have a picnic but there are no other facilities here.
However what is really awesome is that County Parks and recreation holds many events used as well throughout the year. Looking their seasonal magazine know what happens when.
