Got there early on Sunday to take some photos – good idea
we went to the end of the lot and looked into the estuary
the Ostreys were in the nest with the young (making noise asking for food)
still a nice place to visit
Enjoy the sunset, the walk on the boardwalk, and the overall aesthetically pleasing scenery.
Is a. Beautiful place. Is clean the water is clean. You can see the little fish Near the beach my Wife and my daughter and friends loved it I think all the parks and beaches have to be this clean and without street vendors.
What a GREAT beach.
It is so clean and so quiet. Went on a Sunday and it was not crowded at all. The beach is clean and the water was calm, not deep and great for people who enjoy swimming.
The bathrooms were easily accessible. They smell terrible but they weren’t too disgusting, as beach bathrooms can get, and there was never a line for the women’s while I was there.
The boardwalk does offer a little concessions shop with some food options.
But there are lawns next to the boardwalk where you can bring your own grill and cook up some meats! People set up their own tents and tables and it is such a fantastic place to have big group or family gatherings.
I just wish that this place was easier to get to from the city. It is such a little gem.
During spring time and summer this is one of my favorites parks. The sunset at sunken meadow it’s nice!
