Robert Moses Field 5 is a fantastic spot, especially during the summer when everything is open. The area offers food and drinks for purchase, public bathrooms, and even a bar down by the beach. It’s a very popular spot and tends to get crowded on weekends.

One of the highlights is the walk from Field 5 to the lighthouse, which also allows you to explore different towns of Fire Island. The scenery is beautiful, and you can often see wildlife like red fox and deer. I highly recommend Robert Moses Field 5 for a wonderful day out!

This field boasts a delightful bar with lively music near the concession area, adding a pleasant ambiance to the surroundings. Additionally, there is a nice little shop conveniently located off to the side. The beach itself is well-maintained and clean, equipped with showers for your convenience. It offers a short and pleasant walk from the parking lot to the beach and the water’s edge. Furthermore, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk, which leads to a picturesque lighthouse at its end. This beach provides a variety of activities and attractions for visitors to explore and enjoy.

A nice, quiet beach that is ideal for surfing. Coast guards are present at a certain part of the beach and the lighthouse is visible from this spot. The parking lot is free after 4pm.

I love this beach. It’s a Suffolk County beach, but there’s no drama. People don’t come from the city to come so there’s no problems. The lifeguards are spot on. The food is good nice variety at the concession. There’s a tiki bar at field five. I’ve been coming here for years. The pictures I posted, it was a over.Cast day.. You couldn’t swim because of lifeguards. Had no visibility, but they’ve always been spot on amazingGive them a lot of credit. It’s a beautiful beach, very clean, and who doesn’love the ocean
