Owners praise Swan River Preserve for its natural beauty, birdwatching opportunities, and its easy-to-navigate trails. While the park is on the smaller side and the loop can be completed in about 10–15 minutes, its cleanliness, accessibility, and peaceful atmosphere make it a local favorite for quick walks, reading, or simply relaxing with pets. Although there isn’t a designated off-leash area or fenced dog run, leashed dogs are welcome, and visitors appreciate the shady spots and occasional riverside benches.
Beautiful quaint little preserve. Lots of wild life ranging from birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. Beautiful flora as well.
Super accessible! Client who uses walker found the path to be really nice and not difficult to navigate. Small walk around water added to the calmness. Benches and picnic tables are also there and having dinner was really wonderful!
Easy to drive past cuz there are a lot of businesses next to it. Gorgeous and well maintained park. Lot of lonely, men after 7pm lol aww
Small little park very quaint, very clean good Internet access for those who rely on WiFi only like me 😂. I go there to read my books and take a walk. On the other side where the river is, not much of space to sit in front of the river, yes you can sit on their benches but not much of a view of the river, which is sad because it is very beautiful and peaceful. I go there to listen to my Pandora and sketch.
Short picturesque paved trail along Swan River with ample parking, loop can be done in 10-15 mins. That’s the only reason for lower rating of 4 stars. I have hoped for a bit longer trail…
