Underbridge Dog Run is a popular dog park located in Forest Hills, NY, right by 64th Ave. and Grand Central Parkway. This fenced dog park is a convenient spot for locals and visitors traveling via highway from Manhattan. The park boasts a spacious area for dogs to run freely, with separate sections for small and large dogs, ensuring a comfortable experience for pets of all sizes. The park is accessible via a nearby pedestrian bridge connecting it to Flushing Meadows Corona Park, making it an ideal stop for those seeking a dog-friendly outing in Queens.

While the park is mostly grassy, it can become muddy after rain, which dog owners should keep in mind. There is plenty of open space for play, but amenities like water fountains, shade, or agility equipment are lacking, and the presence of sweetgum seed pods means watching your dog’s paws is a good idea. Parking is convenient, and the park features a wheelchair accessible entrance, making it accessible for most visitors. Overall, Underbridge Dog Run offers a welcoming vibe for dogs to socialize and play, even though some maintenance improvements could enhance the experience further.

Great park, lots of space, some of the dogs are untrained or not neutered/spayed but that’s a risk you take going to a public park, most dogs are very friendly though and play nice.

This dog run is located at 64th Road and Grand Central Parkway in Forest Hills, near to a pedestrian bridge over the Grand Central Parkway that connects to Flushing Meadows Corona Park. This is the area of the park near the White Meadow Lake.

Their are two parts of the dog run. One is for smaller dogs and one for larger. dogs. The part for small dogs is small itself, but seems adequate. Its a grassy area that gets very muddy when it rains.

A new and higher fence between the part for smaller dogs and larger ones was installed several years ago.

It’s a fun local dog run with separations between large and smaller dogs. I’ve had good experiences here but can benefit from better maintenance and space.

Stopped by today 7/25 and closed due to construction.

Hidden gem of a dog run. Fenced park with lots of flat open space . Our dog loves running here but it can get muddy post rain since most of the ground is lightly grassed. Parking is convenient and it’s easy to get to via highway from Manhattan.

This place is called a dog park, but it feels

more like a cage. There’s no water, no shade, and the ground is covered in painful sweetgum seed pods (Liquidambar styraciflua) that can injure dogs’ paws. Our pets deserve better – safe, clean, and welcoming spaces to play and socialize. This
isn’t it.
