Eisenhower Park is a very nice well kept park, some of the areas are under construction, went to see the Military helicopter landings and Old school world war two Tank, Half-tracks and WWII soldiers in their uniforms, it was a very nice experience and the park look like a place to take a walk or just lounge around.

Long Island has another hidden gem! It’s packed with history and has plenty of parking. I highly recommend walking through Memorial Park. It’s a great place to pay respects to our heroes from the past. You’ll also find a small town called Safety Town, where we used to go as kids to practice driving. Haha! There’s always something to do at this park. They have an indoor swimming pool, an ice hockey rink, a dog park, BBQ areas, mini-golf, batting cages, a lakeside theater, a restaurant, and baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and miles of walking and hiking trails. Get outside and enjoy the day! Long Island is so beautiful.

The park is a beautiful tribute to a great American 5 Star General and our 34th United States President. It is huge and takes up a great deal of space within Long Islands foot print. Easy to get to with bathrooms available but it would be nice to have more permanent seating to be able to relax as well as exercise. There is some renovation going on but there are arenas, nearby museums, miniture golf, ball fields for football, soccer, baseball, etc. Have a great time and enjoy the tranquil get away from traffic.

Spacious park with lots of sports fields. The ground is in pretty good condition making it a safe place to run/walk and many weekends there are 5ks on the property. Ample parking around the park. Deducted one star because the bathrooms are not always stocked and/or clean, there doesn’t seem to be water fountains anywhere and are limited vending machines, and it’s not easy to get between multiple fields.

Visited this park few years ago, very big park with lots of parking, restrooms and stage that host many types of events. Beautiful memorial status and artifacts. Plenty of place to relax with family and friends. Definitely worth visiting. Dog friendly you can also go bike riding here. Pak is near major park so accessibility won’t be an issue.
