After biking 20 or so miles nice restimg area, pretty, cool and comfortable – well done!!

This place could be so much nicer if the locals respected it. Kids coming there at night and drinking leave a mess and no matter how many times the police chase them out they come back. You would think they would learn a lesson, or at least have a little empathy for the small children that like to use the playground but no, they don’t.

Wow,,,what a terrific public space –

There is a community garden 🪴 in one section of the park.

Two bocce courts with some seating .

An old school , natural grass baseball field for kids-

And the views of Jones Inlet, Jones Beach, and the surrounding bay are spectacular ~

Definitely a place to visit for a bit and relax and take in the scenery.
