Really like this park. It’s beautiful in the evenings. Nice paved trails to walk on. Well lit with playgrounds and a lake to walk around. It’s quite with many benches for those who want to take a break between their walks. Well maintained and litter free.

Very nice, clean and partially shaded dog park! Cross the bridge and you’ll arrive to fenced in dog park with waterbowls. (BYOB) Picnic table and benches, well lit in the evening and at night. Also, just past dog park and pavilions, follow the trail down to the fun little creek and cool off the pups!

First time here, after the rains, and it was still nice enough for my boy to get a run! Plenty of grass area in addition to the wood chip area! And quiet park, all around!

Literal worst dog park in all of Alexandria! It’s located off the side of a major road and has absolutely no parking next to it. As a matter of fact, the GPS location (which they’re able to edit online if they need to, so yes it is their fault) leads you to a road that makes you believe it’s going to a parking area designated for Park patrons. But it’s not! It’s literally just a random road going to the Ben Brennan Park trails. There’s literally no way to get to the dog park unless you cross over six lanes of traffic and a median.

Dog park was nice sized with lots of room for my husky to get up to full speed. Dog owners were attentive, always cleaning up after the pups, sharing water with the whole pack and keeping a decent handle on the pups.
