This is a very nice dog park with plenty of shade for the pups and people. They have a tap in the park to fill water bowls, and benches to sit at while you watch your dog play.

Best dog park in town (competition is a park that uses a dusty clay litter with bits of glass as the ground cover and the other is a connected fence in a field that no one uses, and yes.. you counted correctly Roanoke and Roanoke County have a total of 2 dog parks). Still, I have lived in cities with awesome dog parks and this one is nice and well taken care of.

Nice and clean plenty of water bowls and bags available to clean up after your dog. Separate small and big dog spaces which is nice because my lil guy is older and doesn’t care for big dogs that are hyper etc… but it’s a nice dog park.. there is plenty of seating areas in the shade. So you can hang out while your dog plays.

Probably the nicest and aesthetically pleasing dog park for 100 miles. Has a small dog side and a big dog side. Double gated entrances to keep dogs from getting out. Free well stocked pick up bag dispensers. Tires to go through, a metal and Trex decking arch bridge to climb over and under, and benches under roofed shelters for dog parents to use. There are also a couple free library cases with books to read if you’d like. There is also a water spout and bowl to us for water. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy it more during spring, summer, and fall!

Probably one of the best dog parks Iv been too. Clean and everyone is polite and courteous. It’s got so much room and there’s always lots of other dogs.

They have a no toys and food rule, which makes a safer environment for the dogs, while preventing resource guarding. Always had a good experience with communication between other dog owners as well. I take my 3 dogs often!
