Hays has a great dog park. Very large area, plenty big for small dogs, huge for big dogs. Shade and poop bags, and water fountain. Only thing missing is bathrooms for humans. Well worth the deviation if you’re traveling through the area!
Nice large wide open area to romp.
We could have done without the wind that day. 😁
My Husky’s Dream!!! Stoped here on a cross country road trip to let my huskies run in the snow and spend some energy. This dog park is top notch. It’s huge for one thing. It was very snowy today but there are all the amenities. There is a spot for little dogs and one for big dogs. Doggie bags are available. Seating. We will be back!!
This park is expansive, well thought out and maintained. It is supported by individual donors, which explains the excellent quality covered pavilions with tables, generous sized waste cans and availability of waste bags around the entire perimeter. This is a town that recognizes the need for dogs to play off leash. It is part of a massive sports complex. The large dog part of the park is at least 2 football fields in size. The small dog side appears a bit smaller. Their dog watering stations are great.. See pic. A+ job here. Love it. Easy stop for travelers on the I-70.
Such a great area to stop during a roadtrip. Both small and large sides are huge and perfect for them to run around. Didn’t see any water fountains. We stopped there twice during our holiday trip. Plenty of parking available.
