If you’re looking for a dog park in Oakland, New Jersey, Jill Schwertfeger Memorial Dog Park—also known as Oakland Dog Park—offers a secure and well-maintained spot for your pets. Located at 123 Ramapo Valley Rd, the park provides a clean and peaceful setting for dogs and their owners. The park features free onsite parking, wheelchair accessible facilities, and is known for being very well-kept.
Access to the park is exclusive to members, requiring both payment and a key for entry. This makes it a quiet and private space that’s typically not crowded, ideal for Oakland residents seeking a serene play area for their furry friends. Nearby, you’ll find dog-friendly trails and green spaces perfect for walks.
Excellent space! Very well maintained
I bring my dog pretty often and no other dogs are here 🙁
Passing through responsible dog owners with no access to supposedly local dog park. Should be labeled private dog park for residents only so google notifies your average person.
Must pay, and have a key. NOT a public park, Because of this there are no dogs there.
Must be a paying member to enter. It looks very nice and clean but every time I’ve gone there’s nobody in it. It requires a key to enter. The grounds around it are nice to walk dogs.
