Located in Galena Park, Texas, the City of Galena Park Public Works area is referenced by locals as a place frequented during daily walks. Although not a dedicated, officially maintained dog park, this location is commonly traversed by dog owners on Strick Ln. and Parkey Ln. Remember to stay alert and cautious, as some reviews mention loose or aggressive dogs in the area.
While essential amenities and designated areas for dogs are not confirmed, this location appears to function more as a public space where residents walk their pets. If you’re seeking an official fenced dog park with dedicated dog-friendly amenities in Galena Park, you may want to check for other options nearby.
FYI I’M ONLY GIVING THIS A ONE STAR BECAUSE IT WON’T LET ME PUT ZERO.
This is a joke posting hours. This is one of those departments our “mayor” Moya made cuts on because we don’t “need” it. I walk everyday do Strick Ln. and Parkey Ln. There is a wild wolf dog terrorizing that intersection and today (Monday March 28th 2022) I get bitten by this dog. It happened in front of city workers no less, but did they ask if I was okay. No. Moya claims she has made this a city that works together, but it’s more like a segregated city. Galena Park proper gets upgraded and beautified while we get left to fend for ourselves. These services that the main part of Galena Park receive we should see as well. I haven’t personally seen a animal control officer in years.
