Very friendly and helpful staff. Parks and Rec provide a ton of activities for adults and kids as well as taking care of the awesome dog park.
My kids love the outdoor nature area. The naturalist was super nice and helpful showing the children different things. I only wish it was open more! Earlier hours would be amazing.
My daughters attended the Christmas craft with your grandparent today (12/4/21). The cost of the class was NULL per child. My children are ages 2 and 4. The class indicated it was for ages 2-6. They came home with a clay ornament that was the size of a plate and 2 inches thick with an aluminum foil top. They apparently had to create said ornament from a hunk of clay, which was way too hard for this age group. The ornament is going to take days to harden and it was said at the class “this is too heavy to hang”. In the description of the class it indicated a clay activity but I was thinking something along the lines of ceramics for the price. This class WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! We have always been so pleased with the activities through WB parks and Rec but this was a flop, especially for the cost. Here is the ornament, again I paid NULL for two of these.
My daughter just attended the Painting with Design Camp from August 14-18, 2017, and loved it so much. The instructor was extraordinary and did such a great job with the kids. My daughter is already planning to attend that same camp again next year. I hope the same person is instructing again. Excellent summer camp! I highly recommend the Painting with Design Camp.
