Nice park, wonderful dog park area. Super clean pond with lots of good fishing, not overrun with carp like some areas. The trails are a little rough, i.e no pavement, running back to the lake but with the proper shoes it’s not an issue. I will definitely be going back.

Great park. Clean and secluded. Leave a small deposit and it was returned when the park is left as it was prior to your visit. Big pavilion for picknic’s.

Nice mowed trail that connects to a somewhat maintained cross country ski trail. Very quiet, little foot traffic. Plenty of parking and has restroom.

Nice dog park ! Stevie and Stan Played on the equipment w Lots of room to run. There are 2 fenced in runs, one for little digs under 30 lbs and a biggger one for Big dogs over 30 lbs.

The maintenance of the ponds is disappointing. They suffered vandalism in 2024. Two metal benches were dumped into the water, one in each pond. The bench in the lower pond appears to have been removed from the park. Another bench has broken legs and is not usable–has been upended and has not been replaced as of early spring, 2025. There are currently no benches on the lower pond trail. Security cameras could be a deterrent to the vandalism.
Grantwood golf course apparently drains water from the lower pond during periods of dry weather, leaving it basically unfishable.
