I have a soft spot in my heart for this park since I grew up nearby, but it’s pretty basic. Play equipment is ancient but functional, but there is a ton of well maintained space and big trees. Unrivaled view of the east end of the lake and sunsets. Great community center in the historic house on the hill.

I’ve always loved coming here. Since childhood.

It was my first time coming here. It’s a very shallow but clean beach… No sand, and it’s a pretty big step down from the grass to get in. There is a concrete slab you can walk up and down, just be careful because once it’s wet it gets slippery. Overall it was a nice beach and my 5 year old loved it!

Very beautiful and family friendly. Easy going only one outhouse bathroom

Nice clean, grassy beach area, but not any sandy beach area before the water. A few picnic tables around a shaded area with mature trees and a small playground. Single porta potty, and plenty of space for grilling and parking.
