Find some beautiful rocks plenty for the kids and adults to do.
Spent many days here in the 1960s summers as a kid when this park was a Detroit Edison employee campground. My aunt and uncle had a trailer here. Came back today and had many pleasant memories of the park grounds, beautiful views of the lake, and reminiscing at the beach area. Very nice paved trails. But really want much else to do. There are play areas for the kids and a sledding hill. It was gorgeous on a beautiful sunny fall day though
Lovey park! Has a small beach. Great park for dogs. They did have a sign posted saying dogs can’t go on the beach. They also informed me that fishing is not allowed at this park to protect the people who swim at the beach.I asked about bringing water-crafts and they informed me that you can’t launch kayaks or canoes from this beach. Staff were very helpful and informative. Can’t wait to return soon!
This park is beautiful and overlooks Belleville Lake. The playground equipment is not suitable for young children. I had a hard time navigating some of the obstacles with my 7-year-old. There is a path to walk around the park and benches/picnic tables to sit at. If you drive further into the park you will arrive at the beach. It was closed for the winter. Definitely looking forward to sledding down the hill!
Lovely park, beautiful, well maintained, and MUCH larger than anticipated. The small beach is just perfect depth for kids to safely have fun 🙂
