Might be nice. We weren’t allowed to enter, though the park was nearly empty. I’m from the Midwest, where we welcome people to our city parks. Don’t know what part of the country St. Claire Shores is trying to mimic, but I wouldn’t want to live there.

I have just endured my second round of chemo. It was brutal. I live in Warren. I just wanted some place to sit on the water and reflect. I couldn’t even make it back to my car. My husband had to pull around and put on his hazard lights. All this while being told that it’s a private park for residents only. Problem: When I Google public parks in St. Clair Shores, this park comes up first.

Veterans memorial park is a memorial for this that served. It has summer concerts on Wednesday, picnic area, fishing, walking paths, splash pad, playground, workout stations, ducks, swans, geese, and birds with amazing Lakeview. Resident only park except during concert times.

Visited here for music on the Lake. Loved listening and dancing. The children were having a wonderful time dancing around as well. Great playground and water park for the kiddos.
Wonderful walking paths along Lake St Claire Shores, boats out and people fishing.
plenty of tables, bbq pits and spots for blankets chairs.
Food trucks were lined up ready to serve.
Parking is located across the street from the park, we had the police assist with crossing and traffic.
We arrived early enough to find front row parking but not to worry as there is plenty of parking and it is free. Handicap parking and a ramp onto the sidewalk.
Such a beautiful park with Veterans Memorial inside. The woman that cares for the flowers does an amazing job.
