It has a nice smaller beach area, a pavilion and a ball diamond. The park also has pretty good blue gill fishing off of the shore and docks. Hey. It’s not free anymore. Went by recently, cost a dollar to get in and closed the dump station to the public. Sign says NULL fine if you dump. With that said. I’m sure free or almost free dumping was being abused, so, can’t blame them. For a small community park, thumbs up.

My kid had softball practice. The cemetery is a decent place to ride bikes. The park is fairly clean. They have two dump stations for campers and a place to launch boats with parking. Dump stations are 5 bucks but I’m not sure anyone enforces it. The house you are supposed to pay at has loud dogs and it’s a bit sketchy.

Very clean! Hoping to see upgrades in the future, regarding their gates/roadways.

I was there to umpire the Quincy League 10u baseball championship. The tournament was won by Colon in an extra innings game. I want to think all of the fans for the kindness ,and making sure I had plenty of food water.
