Discover the joy of outdoor adventures with your furry friend at Grand Marais Dog Park by Go Dog North Shore, a welcoming dog park right in the heart of Grand Marais, MN. This scenic, pet-friendly park is packed with naturally wooded areas and a well-designed network of dog-friendly hiking and walking trails, making it a standout destination for locals and visitors alike. The trails, featuring a mix of natural paths and boardwalks, allow both dogs and owners to explore the beautiful North Shore terrain safely and comfortably.
The park is easy to find and close to town, making it ideal for travelers on a road trip or residents seeking a reliable spot for off-leash fun—dogs are allowed to roam and play freely within the park. Maps are posted throughout the trail intersections for convenience, and benches are scattered along the way so owners can relax while their dogs play. This community-driven space is not just perfect for burning off a dog’s energy but is also family-friendly, so bring the kids along for some outdoor time.
Five stars from our 2.5 year old Aussie (and the rest of us, too). Lots of wooded areas for the dog to explore, with a system of trails cleared throughout for easier walking. This is a wonderful addition to the community and we will definitely visit often.
Nice new dog park in town. I am road tripping through and this was the perfect spot to stop and let my dog roam and play off leash. There are plenty of trees and trails, but there are maps posted at pretty much every intersection which is super helpful!
We were so delighted to find this gorgeous dog park in Grand Marais, but not as excited as our dog, Rosie!
Incredibly beautiful, nice trails (some natural, some boardwalk) with benches available, periodically.
The park is close to town and easy to find. Take your pup and yourself out for a walk! ❤️❤️
My dogs loved all the little trails throughout the park. It was a great place to let them get some energy out before we started our day of hiking.
We want to say a big thank you to everyone that made this possible! Every year we visit from Wisconsin and cut our tourist time short because we have a high energy dog. This park allows us to get her energy out and visit longer. We all loved the trails and peaceful walk through the park. Great job to everyone that did this! Thank you!
