Awesome hike!
Wonderful trail with beautiful views and a quiet free campground with a bathroom.
They recently updated the camping area with new picnic tables and fire rings. Very secluded, we only heard 1 other group hiking the trail while we were camping for 4 day. Very peaceful with the sound of the river flowing in the background. Was told we were the first to camp there since the update.
It is overgrown farther down the trail, but it’s pretty out here. The history here is very interesting too.
Too many bugs and overgrown!
